the Omar Broadway Documentary

The prison system has been used for many years to get criminals off the streets. thats all people care about, no one gives a damn about how those people are treated while they are in prison. most criminals arent criminals just because, in most cases its people doing what they have to do to maintain, i dont believe theres anything wrong with that, yet these human beings are beaten, neglected, assaulted, and ignored. ok, i admit, the sleeping and eating conditions in these jails have improved but not the way the prisoners are treated. even the hardest criminal still feels pain just like everyone else, if they get cut they bleed just like everyone else, if its raining the get wet just like everyone else. these 'criminals' are still people, they have families, yet they are treated like animals. what ever happened to natural rights???
Omar Broadway is a convicted felon at a high security prison in newark, new jersey. he was brave enough to smuggle a small video camera into the solitary-confinement section of the prison, which is where he was celled. he proceeded to video tape the cruel and heartless way the guards were treating the inmates.
